About Starling English School

Giving Your Child a Flying Start

At Starling English School, we believe in the power of early language acquisition to unlock a world of opportunity for young children. We are proud to have created a warm and welcoming "family feeling" environment where children feel safe and supported as they embark on their English learning journey.

Situated in the Balduina neighborhood in Rome, Italy, we offer English immersion education from a very young age, utilizing both British and American English. Through a combination of free play, independence-building activities, and a focus on communication, we empower children to become confident learners.

Our immersive approach allows children to develop a strong foundation in the language, setting them up for success in their future academic endeavors. Our small class sizes and mixed-age classrooms allow for individualized attention and a strong sense of community.

At Starling, learning English can continue beyond the nursery and pre-school years through a variety of after-school programs, including small group and private lessons. We understand the importance of ongoing English language development, and offer these to solidify fluency as children transition to primary education.

Our Story

Starling English School, while new in name, has a rich history rooted in the local community. Formerly known as Treehouse, the school has been a beloved institution for many years. In 2024, Anna Nazentseva, a passionate educator and linguist, acquired the school, embarking on a new chapter of excellence.

Starling English School is now undergoing a transformation while preserving its core values. The school's location remains the same, but with exciting improvements to enhance the learning environment. Familiar faces continue to grace the classrooms, bringing their expertise and dedication to the students.

As Starling English School enters this new era, we are excited to welcome families and students to a vibrant community where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
