Nursery Teacher

Mary is fluent in English, Italian and Russian

Kate was born and raised in Russia, in a family of teachers. She studied at a pedagogical university to become a teacher, following the example of her mother.

In 2012, she moved to China, and worked in training centers and kindergartens, her favorite of which was based on the Montessori system. Working in international schools, she gained invaluable experience, and studied not only different approaches to work, but also cultural differences in education.

She has been working at the Starling school (formerly Treehouse School) since 2021. Among other schools in Rome, she also worked as a substitute teacher for La Maisonette and currently also works for Kids&Us.

In teaching the children at Starling, she uses my vast experience gained in different nursery to primary schools, based on learning through games and independence.
